I'm on the "Laugh out Loud Floor," otherwise known as the 7th floor. The Curtis pegs itself as a boutique hotel, even though it is a DoubleTree property. Each floor has a theme - one is the "big hair" floor with lots of Marge Simpson art.
We get Groucho on our floor. The drawback for this hotel is that I have a non-smoking room that reeks of tobacco. It's surrounded by smoking rooms and the stench wafted into my room all night. They obviously have ventilation issues, so if you're sensitive to tobacco smoke, do not stay here.
